Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior?

Amy Chuo being called the Tiger Mom, has wrote this: Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior? Read the article and listen to your heart, what is your response?

My first question, are we pushing our young children too hard in doing something beyond their stage of ability or their interest? Are we trying to realize our own dream through our children and

forgetting that s/he is an unique individual? We all wish our children to be success in their life. But, how do you define 'success'? Today's definition of 'success' has put our children in such a pressure, or even tragedy. Take a look on Race to Nowhere.

Parents, let's provide our children with stimulating activities appropriate to their age. Every child grows in his/her own pace and own way. Some young children interested and able to recognize number and alphabet between 2-3 years old, which generally common in children age 5-8. Anyway, I think we should set boundaries for their proper development. At the same time, give them space and time to breath. Respect the dignity, worth and uniqueness of each child who born with unique talent, gift and temperament.
