My Favorite Sport in this Summer

Biking is the most common activity in Boulder, Colorado, especially during Summer time. Children like biking very much. Since very young, I see people biking along the Boulder Creek. I wish one day I can bike like the adults. Biking is a great exercise that makes me fit. It also helps me to be well mentally and socio-emotionally.

Another Summer event for me. Yeah! Early in the morning, we wake up and get ready for the Family Housing Children Festival at NWCC. There are some interesting activities going on there. Let me share some photos with you all. Station No.1 is face painting. I got my favorite bug- butterfly on my face. Then, I requested two tattoos on my hands.

children are deserved to have fun ;p

It's my Summer Break

What should I do during this long 3-month Summer break? Trust me, I have no idea, indeed... but I do know that I have taken up most of my mom's day time. She needs to come out with a variety of meaningful activities to fill my free time. Thanks to BolderBoulder. None of us ever participate in this annual race, but it was my first memorable fun activity at the beginning of my Summer break. How could that be?

My Writing of Chinese Character

Mom starts to worry about my Chinese writing as I need to pick up this writing skill as soon as possible to get ready for my coming schooling in her home country. She taught me once 上 and 下. I can remember well and I wrote 上 right away. Then, I continued with my last name 怡. This time, I did better because I positioned them well.

My First Preschool Teacher

After five months of teaching my class, my first preschool teacher, Christy has to quit. Her family and her four kiddos need her full devotion and availability. Christy was scheduled to visit me at my home on January, 31th, but it was canceled because her daughter was sick on that very day. That disappointed me, on a heavy snowing day ;(. My Mom prepared her sushi. She loves the Fruity Egg Tarts Mom made at the first visit.

My Progress in Learning

I am so grateful to get enrolled in preschool last year. I was 3 years old (plus 1 week) on my first day to school, September 7, 2010. I am the youngest in the classroom. However, I am pretty independent to make friend and learn together with my classmates age between 4 to 5. They are all taller and bigger-sized than me. Everyday, I'll tell my mom that I'm growing taller, my arms and legs are longer now.

Are you getting your kiddo ready for the coming snow?

Snow? Fun! Children love snow, but parents worry children may catch a cold if they stay too long in a chilly weather. Another issue, too troublesome to put on and take off full winter gear to be out in snowy days.Well, here present a great fun, economic, safe and convenient idea for children to have snow play at home.

Yes, snow play at home! All that you need is a pail of snow from your yard, spoon, cups and water paint. Enjoy it in your bath tub. Easy clean up too. So, get ready for the next coming snow...weather forecast

Well, this will not stop my little Faith from having fun in the great snow. How nice that she got her full gear to play in snow this Winter. Video shows of her fun time in snow and the wonderful snowy scenery from Scott Carpenter Park to our apartment.

On Christmas morning

Christmas traditions simply express what the season means. According to History Channel, people starts to give gifts to the loved ones, following the Wise Men (Magi in the Bible) when they brought precious gifts from afar to visiting Baby Jesus. On Christmas morning, everyone in the family will take turn to open their presents. All you can hear, probably the 'ooh's or 'ahh's over the presents.

As for a small family like us, the highlight is on our little princess. I bet you get what I mean from her reaction in the uploaded video. This is the best Christmas deal we got from http://www.collectionsetc.com , as compares to the recent price of $17.49 at Amazon. Pillow Pets not just a toy, it's a great fluffy pillow with just one strap open.

What a Merry merry Christmas for Faith

My little Faith got all her wish-list Christmas presents this year. She received a full bag of winter wears from her school at Martin Drive. She needed a winter dress boots, she got one now. Her favourite are the bear and her shinny princess shoes. What so surprises me is that her name is on the shinny shoes! She will wear the shinny shoes everyday at home (size 9 just slightly bigger for her now ;)) More to come, coz her dad gonna to thrill her heart on Christmas Eve with her desperate-wanted gift!
