Apple Berries Pie

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Too boring to take raw apple fruit everyday? Let's bake them and eat in a apple fruit tart. The mixture with berries gives you a plus for the texture and taste.

Yield 8 servings
Ingredients:
2 pieces of 9" pie crust, ready from the store

 Filling
1/2 cup sugar (add more if you like extra sweet)
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 medium size apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 cup berries (single or mixture of blue berries, raspberry, red berries)
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions:
(1) Preheat your oven at 425 F degree.
(2) Place a pie crust on a ungreased bake dish, 9"
(3) Mix the dry ingredients: sugar, flour, cinnamon
(4) Fold in the apples, berries and lemon juice
(5) Scope the mixture in (4) to (3)
(6) Cover the filling with another piece of pie crust
(7) Press edges together to seal
(8) Cut slits in top crust
(9) Bake for 40 minutes
(10) Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after first 20 minutes of baking
